Why Toujours Actif?
I created Toujours Actif from a vision that running should be able to do more – and accommodate more people. It's not about optimizing performance, chasing perfect split times or setting new personal records.
You don't have to be the fastest, strongest or most experienced to call yourself a runner. For many, running is more than a sport. It's a space of freedom. A respite from the stress of everyday life, the noise of meetings, the flashing emails and the endless to-do lists. A place where you can relax, clear your head and find peace.
Running should be able to relieve stress. Running should be able to provide peace. Running should be able to strengthen our well-being.
That's exactly what I rediscovered – and that was the beginning of Toujours Actif.
How will you be perceived the next time you run past someone?
Perception
When we lace up our running shoes and pull on our running gear, we're all the same. People see a runner. Everything else is put on hold. Job title, social status, and income level. Completely subordinate.
You are defined by how you act right now.
It's up to you how you want to appear. How you want to be perceived.
Toujours Actif is about recognizing all runners. Speed, strength or experience. It doesn't matter. Everyone is the same.
